Silvio Hachler from Team ARC send us photos of his ARC R8.0 which was taken during the 2015 IFMAR 1:8 IC World Championship in Americana, Brazil. Silvio's Novarossi-powered ARC R8.0 topped the group coming in 1st for control practise.
Competition became closer during qualifying rounds, Silvio put in a strong performance in day 1, sitting in 8th after 3 qualifying rounds. Some trouble in day 2 would see ending up in 13th after 6 qualifying rounds with his ARC still in a good pace for the finals. In the semi-final A, Silvio held steady in 2nd position, just 1 second off the leader, until a rare incident with another driver half way through resulting him to retire and a chance for the finals, ending overall 18th. A small Team ARC in Brazil showed great potential of the ARC R8.0 car, but the Taiwanese-based company said that the success of the brand still have a long way to go and many challenges ahead.
